a crazy shooting experience Survivor Role Card
You win by still existing. Be boring on purpose.
Most rounds of a crazy shooting experience you are a survivor. One player is the shooter; you are everyone else. The win condition is still being here when the hunt fails. This card is the lobby version. The long version is how to survive plus the named corners on hiding spots.
If the HUD named you the hunter, this card is how you throw. Switch.
Job description
Break line of sight in five seconds. Sit in S-tier geography (wooden interiors) or A-tier (porch off the lantern axis). Relocate once, and only because you heard the shooter commit. Do not tour the mesa. Do not photograph cactus. Do not emote.
You probably do not have a fair gun. Until the HUD puts one in your hand, “clutching” means staying quiet, not taking a porch duel. If a pickup appears after a patch, ambush from a door; do not hold the railroad. How to play for the rule, latest patch for changes.
Strengths
- Time is on your side if you stop moving.
- Interiors and porch beams are built for you.
- The shooter has to find eleven people; you only have to not be the next one.
- Dull loadouts actually work here.
- Spectating after a death teaches the station faster than a second guide.
Weaknesses
- One railroad sprint is death.
- Teammates burn spots in chat.
- Particles and huge hair clip above crates.
- Mobile HUD makes ditch peeks miserable — controls.
- High ping plus a second peek is a lottery you will lose.
Default opener
- Spawn, read the HUD, confirm you are not the shooter.
- Walk — do not sprint — into a timber interior or off-axis porch shadow.
- Crouch off the doorway.
- Listen for wood versus sand.
- Relocate only toward another interior, never toward the mesa.
That opener is A-tier on the role list and S-tier geography on the maps list.
Tells you are about to die
You are in the lantern cone. You can see the whole mesa (that means the mesa can see you). You hear your own wood sprint. A teammate just typed “group porch.” Your pet is still floating. Fix the last one in the catalog before the next round.
Teaming
You may hide with other survivors in the same building. Do not share a doorway. Two outlines in one frame is a double kill. Do not follow a stranger across the open gap; that is a shooter bait pattern described on the shooter card.
After you die
Spectate the hunter’s sweep. If they skip your building, that building is still good. If they always check stairs, sit off-stair next time. Then queue. Short rounds are the design; getting started already told you the average visit is under ten minutes.
Do not download a wallhack because you are tired of dying. Read scripts safety. The survivor skill is patience plus geography, and both are free.
Keep one backup interior in mind before you spawn, not five. The second building is for when the first doorway is burned by a teammate death, not for a sightseeing tour. If you hear sand and not wood, the hunter is already in F-tier land; that is the rare moment you can breathe, not the moment you climb the mesa to watch. Stay in the house.
A quiet round feels like nothing is happening. That is the win condition working. Resist the urge to “do something” on the railroad. The maps tier list already told you the rails are a tool, not a home. When you can stay boring for a full hunt, the long how to survive guide is flavor. Until then, this card is enough.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.

Only with a HUD gun. Otherwise you are feeding. How to survive.
Where do I sit first?
Interior off-door, or porch off the lantern. Never mesa, never cactus camp. Hiding spots.

Same building, different corners. Do not stack in one doorway.
Do codes make hiding easier?
Not today. A glowing reward might make it harder. Codes.
